I heard that somebody had a bloody ticket stub that he was going to sell on ebay.
Marc you serious?? That is some seriously fucked up and twisted shit!
I heard that somebody had a bloody ticket stub that he was going to sell on ebay.
<font size="4" face="Arial">That was in some newspaper article. The kid being interviewed or supplying the account of the shooting said his ticket was splattered with blood and that he might sell it on eBay. Somebody on Blabbermouth, in one of the million articles there, posted the link to the story.Originally posted by AlAlvin:

I will admit that I thought to myself "man, if that guitar he was playing at the moment ever gets turned around for a sale, that thing will make HUGE money". I mean, morbid thoughts, but you know that guitar was pulled out by the band and placed under massive security by them. He was a massive star in the Metal world, and fast on his way to becoming a Guitar Legend, if he hadn't already achieved that level.

Why someone'd want the blood of a murder victim as memoribilia is something I just don't understand.
The story about the bloody t-shirt has been blown out of proportion a bit. There was a guy selling a shirt with bulletholes in it, but ebay took it down. Here is what the t-shirt listing said:
"You are bidding on an un-official Dimebag Darrell t-shirt. This one is so realistic, it even has 5 (five) .45 caliber bullet holes in it. (Identical to the one pictured, except with bullet holes in it.) Hey, good enough for one of the world's greatest guitarists, good enough for you!! Get yours while the lead is hot!!
Since I've been getting a rash of questions about this item, I've decided to include a photo of the .45 and the five rounds that will be put in the shirt. The pistol and ammunition, per eBay rules, are not for sale, I wouldn't want them to end up in another heavy metal icon."
This has got to be the most FUCKED UP thing someone could do. Word has it that Ebay pulled out an auction today....It was the bloody gunshot shirt of Dimebag.
If this is fact?....
What kinda fucking idiot would do such a thing?
What a shame what people will do to make a quick buck.
For an idiot to do that...you bet there would be another idiot who'd buy it...A strange world we live in.

The timing is obviously abhorrent, but this is
the Internet, of course, in which solipsistic
mentalists - like the guy who shot poor Dimebag
himself - considers time, itself, to be a
disregardable commodity: Who cares right, it's
the Internet - nobody on the Internet feels any
emotion?
The guy who posted it - undoubtedly a guy - is
probably some spotty 14-year-old geek who's yet
to kiss a girl, never mind someone who's found
himself privy to a concert in which someone was
shot dead at point blank range.
Point a gun in this guy's face and he'll probably
soil his pants - like most of us would.
